FIIs stood as net sellers in equities as per January 20 data: NSDL
The FIIs as per Thursday’s data were net sellers in equity segment, while net buyers in debt segment, according to data released by the NSDL.
In equity segment, the gross buying was of Rs 7635.40 crore against gross selling of Rs 10273.89 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 2638.49 crore in equities.
In the debt segment, the gross purchase was of Rs 578.04 crore with gross sales of Rs 414.72 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 163.32 crore in debt.
In the hybrid segment, the gross buying was of Rs 22.01 crore against gross selling of Rs 26.28 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 4.27 crore in hybrid segment.
