FIIs stood as net sellers in equities as per January 2 data: NSDL

The FIIs as per Monday’s data were net sellers in equity segment, while net buyers in debt segment, according to data released by the NSDL.
In equity segment, the gross buying was of Rs 1770.31 crore against gross selling of Rs 5330.36 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 3560.05 crore in equities.
In the debt segment, the gross purchase was of Rs 286.87 crore against gross selling of Rs 177.84 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 109.03 crore in debt.
In the hybrid segment, the gross buying was of Rs 0.54 crore against gross selling of Rs 15.50 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 14.96 crore in hybrid segment.
