FIIs stood as net sellers in equities as per January 19 data: NSDL

The FIIs as per Wednesday’s data were net sellers in equity segment, while net buyers debt segment, according to data released by the NSDL.
In equity segment, the gross buying was of Rs 6236.09 crore against gross selling of Rs 6832.78 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 596.69 crore in equities.
In the debt segment, the gross purchase was of Rs 692.95 crore against gross selling of Rs 318.91 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 374.04 crore in debt.
In the hybrid segment, the gross buying was of Rs 18.22 crore against gross selling of Rs 10.08 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 8.14 crore in hybrid segment.
