FIIs stood as net sellers in equities as per December 31 data: NSDL

The FIIs as per Friday’s data were net sellers in equity segment, while net buyers in debt segment, according to data released by the NSDL.
In equity segment, the gross buying was of Rs 5363.15 crore against gross selling of Rs 6495.61 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 1132.46 crore in equities.
In the debt segment, the gross purchase was of Rs 857.52 crore with gross sales of Rs 114.55 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 742.97 crore in debt.
In the hybrid segment, the gross buying was of Rs 2.51 crore against gross selling of Rs 15.65 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 13.14 crore in hybrid segment.
