FIIs stood as net buyers in equities as per May 19 data: NSDL
The FIIs as per Friday’s data were net buyers in equity segment, while net sellers in debt segment, according to data released by the NSDL.
In equity segment, the gross buying was of Rs 8521.76 crore against gross selling of Rs 6717.12 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 1804.64 crore in equities.
In the debt segment, the gross purchase was of Rs 686.38 crore against gross selling of Rs 856.66 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 170.28 crore in debt.
In the hybrid segment, the gross buying was of Rs 4.28 crore against gross selling of Rs 9.80 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 5.52 crore in hybrid segment.
