FIIs stood as net buyers in equities as per May 18 data: NSDL
The FIIs as per Thursday’s data were net buyers in both equity and debt segment, according to data released by the NSDL.
In equity segment, the gross buying was of Rs 7597.62 crore against gross selling of Rs 6791.83 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 805.79 crore in equities.
In the debt segment, the gross purchase was of Rs 1881.05 crore against gross selling of Rs 377.42 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 1503.63 crore in debt.
In the hybrid segment, the gross buying was of Rs 459.95 crore against gross selling of Rs 142.65 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 317.30 crore in hybrid segment.
