FIIs stood as net buyers in equities as per May 17 data: NSDL
The FIIs as per Wednesday’s data were net buyers in both equity and debt segment, according to data released by the NSDL.
In equity segment, the gross buying was of Rs 7934.31 crore against gross selling of Rs 6218.41 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 1715.90 crore in equities.
In the debt segment, the gross purchase was of Rs 1727.15 crore against gross selling of Rs 564.81 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 1162.34 crore in debt.
In the hybrid segment, the gross buying was of Rs 9.63 crore against gross selling of Rs 23.49 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 13.86 crore in hybrid segment.
