FIIs stood as net buyers in equities as per January 6 data: NSDL

The FIIs as per Thursday’s data were net buyers in both equity and debt segment, according to data released by the NSDL.
In equity segment, the gross buying was of Rs 7620.66 crore against gross selling of Rs 7029.08 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 591.58 crore in equities.
In the debt segment, the gross purchase was of Rs 306.44 crore with gross sales of Rs 114.36 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 192.08 crore in debt.
In the hybrid segment, the gross buying was of Rs 4.40 crore against gross selling of Rs 6.87crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 2.47 crore in hybrid segment.
