FIIs stood as net buyers in equities as per January 18 data: NSDL

The FIIs as per Wednesday’s data were net buyers in both equity and debt segment, according to data released by the NSDL.

In equity segment, the gross buying was of Rs 8667.68 crore against gross selling of Rs 7308.98 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 1358.70 crore in equities.

In the debt segment, the gross purchase was of Rs 318.82 crore against gross selling of Rs 176.93 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 141.89 crore in debt.

In the hybrid segment, the gross buying was of Rs 1.06 crore against gross selling of Rs 4.49 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 3.43 crore in hybrid segment
