FIIs stood as net buyers in equities as per January 17 data: NSDL
The FIIs as per Tuesday’s data were net buyers in both equity and debt segment, according to data released by the NSDL.
In equity segment, the gross buying was of Rs 8515.82 crore against gross selling of Rs 6945.09 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 1570.73 crore in equities.
In the debt segment, the gross purchase was of Rs 607.17 crore against gross selling of Rs 198.03 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 409.14 crore in debt.
In the hybrid segment, the gross buying was of Rs 2.04 crore against gross selling of Rs 12.90 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 10.86 crore in hybrid segment.
