FIIs stood as net buyers in equities as per January 05 data: NSDL
The FIIs as per Wednesday’s data were net buyers in equity segment, while net sellers in debt segment, according to data released by the NSDL.
In equity segment, the gross buying was of Rs 5778.38 crore against gross selling of Rs 4421.83 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 1356.55 crore in equities.
In the debt segment, the gross purchase was of Rs 98.44 crore with gross sales of Rs 224.44 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 126.00 crore in debt.
In the hybrid segment, the gross buying was of Rs 10.99 crore against gross selling of Rs 12.62 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 1.63 crore in hybrid segment.
