FIIs stood as net buyers in equities as per December 23 data: NSDL

The FIIs as per Friday’s data were net buyers in both equity and debt segment, according to data released by the NSDL.
In equity segment, the gross buying was of Rs 5463.35 crore against gross selling of Rs 4304.89 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 1158.46 crore in equities.
In the debt segment, the gross purchase was of Rs 228.61 crore against gross selling of Rs 148.99 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 79.62 crore in debt.
In the hybrid segment, the gross buying was of Rs 2.06 crore against gross selling of Rs 10.36 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 8.30 crore in hybrid segment.
