FIIs stood as net buyers in equities as per December 16 data: NSDL
The FIIs as per Friday’s data were net buyers in equity segment, while net sellers in debt segment, according to data released by the NSDL.
In equity segment, the gross buying was of Rs 8094.97 crore against gross selling of Rs 6556.64 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 1538.33 crore in equities.
In the debt segment, the gross purchase was of Rs 164.97 crore against gross selling of Rs 459.78 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 294.81 crore in debt.
In the hybrid segment, the gross buying was of Rs 18.86 crore against gross selling of Rs 2.15 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 16.71 crore in hybrid segment.
