FIIs stood as net buyers in equities as per April 5 data: NSDL

The FIIs as per Wednesday’s data were net buyers in equity segment, while net sellers in debt segment, according to data released by the NSDL.
In equity segment, the gross buying was of Rs 5009.30 crore against gross selling of Rs 4451.16 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 558.14 crore in equities.
In the debt segment, the gross purchase was of Rs 1216.96 crore against gross selling of Rs 1793.70 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 576.74 crore in debt.
In the hybrid segment, the gross buying was of Rs 0.84 crore against gross selling of Rs 4.41 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 3.57 crore in hybrid segment.
