The company reported standalone net profit of Rs 117.45 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2021 as compared to Rs 78.13 crore in the same period last year, registering a year-on-year growth of 50.33 per cent. Net revenue of the company rose triple digit by 119.52 per cent at Rs 508.08 crore in January-March quarter of this fiscal as against Rs 231.45 crore in the corresponding period last year.
During January-March quarter, operating expenses increased by 239.67 per cent to Rs 231.55 crore from Rs 68.17 crore in year ago period. Other Income dipped by 48.43 per cent at Rs 2.46 crore versus (Mar'20 Rs 4.77 crore).
Operating Profit surged by 69.37 per cent to Rs 276.53 crore as against Rs 163.27 crore in the year ago period, while Operating Profit Margin (OPM) contracted year-on-year to 22.84 per cent in March quarter. Interest grew by 80.21 per cent y-o-y to Rs 160.55 crore, while Taxation increased by 18.07 per cent at Rs 0.98 crore (Mar'20 Rs 0.83 crore).
