The company reported standalone net profit of Rs 51.00 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2021 as compared to Rs 62.03 crore in the same period last year, registering a year-on-year decline of 17.78 per cent. Net revenue of the company declined moderately by 11.14 per cent at Rs 488.80 crore in January-March quarter of this fiscal as against Rs 550.09 crore in the corresponding period last year.

During January-March quarter, operating expenses dropped by 20.39 per cent to Rs 361.56 crore from Rs 454.17 crore in year ago period. Other Income dipped by 29.15 per cent at Rs 11.69 crore versus (Mar'20 Rs 16.50 crore).

Operating Profit surged by 32.65 per cent to Rs 127.24 crore as against Rs 95.92 crore in the year ago period, while Operating Profit Margin (OPM) expanded year-on-year to 49.25 per cent in March quarter. Interest declined by 60.51 per cent y-o-y to Rs 10.20 crore, while Taxation increased by 172.98 per cent at Rs 25.96 crore (Mar'20 Rs 9.51 crore).
