Currency Alert
- The US Dollar Index plunged by almost 0.79 percent on Friday touching the lower levels of 90.10 levels after the disappointing release of employment data from the US.
- US job growth unexpectedly slowed in April due to shortages of workers that have left businesses scrambling to meet booming demand after the economy re-opened on back of rapidly improving public health and massive government aid.
- The surge in DXY pushed GBPUSD and EURUSD higher towards 1.4044 and 1.2176 levels respectively, overnight.
- There is a possibility that GBPINR and EURINR could trade higher in today’s session.
