Coromandel International jumps on reporting 38% rise in Q3 consolidated net profit

Coromandel International is currently trading at Rs. 894.00, up by 19.50 points or 2.23% from its previous closing of Rs. 874.50 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 873.50 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 894.45 and Rs. 869.20 respectively. So far 16172 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 1 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 1094.40 on 01-Sep-2022 and a 52 week low of Rs. 730.00 on 24-Feb-2022.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 916.35 and Rs. 846.20 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 26119.83 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 57.41%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 28.25% and 14.34% respectively. 
 
Coromandel International has reported results for third quarter ended December 31, 2022 (Q3FY23).

The company has reported a rise of 42.13% in its net profit at Rs 539.35 crore for the quarter under review as compared to Rs 379.48 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company increased 63.69% at Rs 8349.57 crore for Q3FY23 as compared to Rs 5100.71 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.

On the consolidated basis, the company has reported rise of 38.07% in its net profit at Rs 526.85 crore for the quarter under review as compared to Rs 381.58 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company increased 63.73% at Rs 8349.18 crore for Q3FY23 as compared to Rs 5099.50 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.
