The company reported standalone net profit of Rs 495.67 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2022 as compared to Rs 329.18 crore in the same period last year, registering a year-on-year growth of 50.58 per cent. Net revenue of the company rose substantially by 56.98 per cent at Rs 5,722.16 crore in April-June quarter of this fiscal as against Rs 3,645.18 crore in the corresponding period last year.
During April-June quarter, operating expenses increased by 59.20 per cent to Rs 5,038.78 crore from Rs 3,165.16 crore in year ago period. Other Income grew by 153.64 per cent at Rs 53.34 crore versus (Jun'21 Rs 21.03 crore). Operating Profit surged by 42.36 per cent to Rs 683.38 crore as against Rs 480.02 crore in the year ago period, while Operating Profit Margin (OPM) contracted year-on-year to 9.34 per cent in June quarter. Interest grew by 55.35 per cent y-o-y to Rs 26.55 crore, while Taxation increased by 50.72 per cent at Rs 170.10 crore (Jun'21 Rs 112.86 crore).
