The company reported standalone net profit of Rs 291.31 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2022 as compared to Rs 254.87 crore in the same period last year, registering a year-on-year growth of 14.30 per cent. Net revenue of the company rose moderately by 9.45 per cent at Rs 1,978.30 crore in April-June quarter of this fiscal as against Rs 1,807.54 crore in the corresponding period last year.
During April-June quarter, operating expenses increased by 9.60 per cent to Rs 1,505.97 crore from Rs 1,374.02 crore in year ago period. Other Income grew by 13.29 per cent at Rs 62.90 crore versus (Jun'21 Rs 55.52 crore). Operating Profit surged by 8.95 per cent to Rs 472.33 crore as against Rs 433.52 crore in the year ago period, while Operating Profit Margin (OPM) contracted year-on-year to 0.42 per cent in June quarter. Interest grew by 0.00 per cent y-o-y to Rs 13.91 crore, while Taxation increased by 9.82 per cent at Rs 98.77 crore (Jun'21 Rs 89.94 crore).
