Coal India gains on eyeing to achieve production target of 700 MT for FY23

Coal India is currently trading at Rs. 223.25, up by 2.00 points or 0.90% from its previous closing of Rs. 221.25 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 220.30 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 224.20 and Rs. 220.30 respectively. So far 133150 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 263.30 on 09-Nov-2022 and a 52 week low of Rs. 143.90 on 30-Dec-2021.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 225.55 and Rs. 214.20 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 137736.98 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 66.13%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 29.34% and 4.52% respectively.

Coal India is eyeing to achieve the production target of 700 million tonnes (MT) for the current financial year (FY23). Coal India accounts for over 80 per cent of the domestic coal output.

Coal India is the world’s largest coal mining company. It also produces non-coking coal and coking coal of various grades for diverse applications.
