The company reported standalone net profit of Rs 994.42 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2022 as compared to Rs 231.79 crore in the same period last year, registering a year-on-year growth of 329.02 per cent. Net revenue of the company rose substantially by 87.86 per cent at Rs 16,413.57 crore in January-March quarter of this fiscal as against Rs 8,737.24 crore in the corresponding period last year. During January-March quarter, operating expenses increased by 80.55 per cent to Rs 14,832.44 crore from Rs 8,215.26 crore in year ago period.
Other Income dipped by 53.96 per cent at Rs 13.33 crore versus (Mar'21 Rs 28.95 crore). Operating Profit surged by 202.91 per cent to Rs 1,581.13 crore as against Rs 521.98 crore in the year ago period, while Operating Profit Margin (OPM) expanded year-on-year to 61.31 per cent in March quarter. Interest grew by 1.29 per cent y-o-y to Rs 95.89 crore, while Taxation increased by 268.30 per cent at Rs 372.57 crore (Mar'21 Rs 101.16 crore).
