Chemfab Alkalis posts Q4 net profit of Rs 12.90 cr

The company reported standalone net profit during the quarter stood at Rs 12.90 crore compared to net loss of Rs 11.66 crore in the previous year quarter. Net revenue of the company rose substantially by 71.47 per cent at Rs 88.10 crore in January-March quarter of this fiscal as against Rs 51.38 crore in the corresponding period last year. During January-March quarter, operating expenses increased by 42.87 per cent to Rs 68.62 crore from Rs 48.03 crore in year ago period.
Other Income grew by 421.05 per cent at Rs 2.97 crore versus (Mar'21 Rs 0.57 crore). Operating Profit surged by 481.49 per cent to Rs 19.48 crore as against Rs 3.35 crore in the year ago period, while Operating Profit Margin (OPM) expanded year-on-year to 239.11 per cent in March quarter. Interest declined by 87.50 per cent y-o-y to Rs 0.07 crore, while Taxation decreased by 63.62 per cent at Rs 3.62 crore (Mar'21 Rs 9.95 crore).
