Chemcon Speciality Q4 net profit up 37.35% at Rs 21.29 cr
The company reported standalone net profit of Rs 21.29 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2022 as compared to Rs 15.50 crore in the same period last year, registering a year-on-year growth of 37.35 per cent. Net revenue of the company rose substantially by 24.69 per cent at Rs 89.13 crore in January-March quarter of this fiscal as against Rs 71.48 crore in the corresponding period last year. During January-March quarter, operating expenses increased by 21.71 per cent to Rs 61.66 crore from Rs 50.66 crore in year ago period.
Other Income dipped by 13.10 per cent at Rs 2.72 crore versus (Mar'21 Rs 3.13 crore). Operating Profit surged by 31.89 per cent to Rs 27.46 crore as against Rs 20.82 crore in the year ago period, while Operating Profit Margin (OPM) expanded year-on-year to 5.77 per cent in March quarter. Interest declined by 88.57 per cent y-o-y to Rs 0.08 crore, while Taxation increased by 22.59 per cent at Rs 7.11 crore (Mar'21 Rs 5.80 crore).
