Century Plyboards inches up on making further investments of Rs 20.95 crore in Century Panels

Century Plyboards (India) is currently trading at Rs. 512.30, up by 0.45 points or 0.09% from its previous closing of Rs. 511.85 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 520.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 525.55 and Rs. 511.80 respectively. So far 2421 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 1 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 749.00 on 23-Mar-2022 and a 52 week low of Rs. 352.25 on 30-Aug-2021.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 525.55 and Rs. 487.25 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 11395.25 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 73.04%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 18.05% and 8.91% respectively.

Century Plyboards (India) has made further investments to the extent of Rs 20.95 crore in its wholly owned subsidiary company, Century Panels (CPL), by way of subscription to 2,09,50,000 fully paid up equity shares of face value Rs 10 each through Rights issue. The company has made investments to meet the capex and working capital requirements of CPL for its ongoing project.

Century Plyboards (India) is largest seller of plywood and decorative veneers in the Indian organized plywood market. The manufacturing facility of company is located at Bishnupur near Joka, Kolkata.
