Central Bank of India trades higher on reporting 73% rise in Q4 consolidated net profit

The scrip opened at Rs. 31.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 31.21 and Rs. 30.42 respectively. So far 1576042 shares were traded on the counter.

Central Bank of India has reported 84.02% rise in its net profit at Rs 571.03 crore for the quarter under review as compared to Rs 310.31 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the bank increased by 33.46% at Rs 8,567.45 crore for Q4FY23 as compared to Rs 6,419.58 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.
On consolidated basis, the bank has reported 72.68% rise in its net profit at Rs 591.00 crore for fourth quarter ended March 31, 2023 as compared to Rs 342.26 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the bank increased by 33.37% at Rs 8,595.68 crore for Q4FY23 as compared to Rs 6,444.82 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.
For the year ended March 31, 2023, the bank has reported 51.43% rise in its net profit at Rs 1,582.20 crore as compared to Rs 1,044.83 crore for the previous year. Total income of the bank increased by 14.96% at Rs 29,625.60 crore for year under review as compared to Rs 25,770.13 crore for year ended March 31, 2022.
For the year ended March 31, 2023, on the consolidated basis, the bank has reported 56.05% rise in its net profit at Rs 1,678.78 crore as compared to Rs 1,075.79 crore for the previous year. Total income of the bank increased by 14.96% at Rs 29,741.59 crore for year under review as compared to Rs 25,870.83 crore for year ended March 31, 2022.
