CRISIL zooms on reporting 52% rise in Q2 consolidated net profit

CRISIL is currently trading at Rs. 3145.00, up by 149.40 points or 4.99% from its previous closing of Rs. 2995.60 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 3049.80 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 3239.10 and Rs. 3032.55 respectively. So far 27180 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 1 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 3323.00 on 20-Jul-2021 and a 52 week low of Rs. 1636.30 on 03-Aug-2020.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 3323.00 and Rs. 2652.70 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 22819.99 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 66.99%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 19.10% and 13.91% respectively.

CRISIL has reported 35.06% rise in its net profit of Rs 93.61 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2021 as against net profit of Rs 69.31 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company increased by 39.29% at Rs 320.60 crore for quarter ended June 30, 2021 as compared Rs 230.17 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.

On the consolidated basis, the company has reported 51.94% rise in its net profit at Rs 100.80 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2021as against net profit of Rs 66.34 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company increased by 13.74% at Rs 550.48 crore for quarter ended June 30, 2021 as compared to Rs 483.96 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.
