CEAT trades higher on the BSE
CEAT is currently trading at Rs. 1548.65, up by 8.50 points or 0.55% from its previous closing of Rs. 1540.15 on the BSE.
The scrip opened at Rs. 1553.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 1588.80 and Rs. 1545.00 respectively. So far 8023 shares were traded on the counter.
The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 1763.15 on 04-Feb-2021 and a 52 week low of Rs. 713.00 on 18-May-2020.
Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 1613.40 and Rs. 1528.00 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 6339.54 crore.
The promoters holding in the company stood at 46.82%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 39.29% and 13.88% respectively.
CEAT has entered into third addendum agreement to the existing share subscription and shareholders’ agreement with Tyresnmore Online (associate of the company) and other parties, for making a further investment of up to Rs 2,40,00,000 in Tyresnmore , on such terms and conditions as prescribed therein to acquire additional 3.47% of the post issue total share capital of Tyresnmore. Upon the completion of the investment, the total holding of the company in Tyresnmore on a fully diluted basis would be 44.17%.
