Butterfly Gandhima posts Q4 net loss of Rs 19.38 cr

The company reported standalone net loss during the quarter stood at Rs 19.38 crore compared to net profit of Rs 8.85 crore in the previous year quarter. Net revenue of the company declined marginally by 3.36 per cent at Rs 199.31 crore in January-March quarter of this fiscal as against Rs 206.23 crore in the corresponding period last year. During January-March quarter, operating expenses increased by 12.48 per cent to Rs 216.67 crore from Rs 192.63 crore in year ago period. Other Income grew by 4.84 per cent at Rs 0.65 crore versus (Mar'21 Rs 0.62 crore).
Operating Profit slipped by 227.65 per cent to Rs -17.36 crore as against Rs 13.60 crore in the year ago period, while Operating Profit Margin (OPM) contracted year-on-year to 232.17 per cent in March quarter. Interest grew by 0.62 per cent y-o-y to Rs 3.27 crore, while Taxation increased by 376.36 per cent at Rs -10.48 crore (Mar'21 Rs -2.20 crore).
