Borosil Renewables surges on commencing commercial production of Solar Glass at Gujarat Plant

Borosil Renewables is currently trading at Rs. 467.05, up by 14.00 points or 3.09% from its previous closing of Rs. 453.05 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 461.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 472.00 and Rs. 459.05 respectively. So far 32169 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 1 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 833.00 on 25-Apr-2022 and a 52 week low of Rs. 438.10 on 15-Feb-2023.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 480.50 and Rs. 445.70 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 6088.95 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 61.64%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 6.07% and 32.30% respectively.

Borosil Renewables has commenced commercial production of Solar Glass at company's plant in Bharuch District of Gujarat from February 23, 2023. With this, the production capacity of the Company for production of Solar Glass has increased from 450 tonnes per day to 1000 tonnes per day.

Borosil Renewables is engaged in the manufacturing of low-iron-textured solar glass for applications in photovoltaic panels, flat-plate collectors, and greenhouses and is the first and only solar glass manufacturer in India.
