The company reported standalone net profit of Rs 9.16 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2021 as compared to Rs 16.42 crore in the same period last year, registering a year-on-year decline of 44.21 per cent. Net revenue of the company rose moderately by 7.41 per cent at Rs 105.23 crore in January-March quarter of this fiscal as against Rs 97.97 crore in the corresponding period last year. During January-March quarter, operating expenses increased by 5.94 per cent to Rs 90.04 crore from Rs 84.99 crore in year ago period. Other Income dipped by 71.78 per cent at Rs 4.30 crore versus (Mar'20 Rs 15.24 crore). Operating Profit surged by 17.03 per cent to Rs 15.19 crore as against Rs 12.98 crore in the year ago period, while Operating Profit Margin (OPM) expanded year-on-year to 8.98 per cent in March quarter. Interest declined by 11.45 per cent y-o-y to Rs 2.01 crore, while Taxation decreased by 30.94 per cent at Rs 4.91 crore (Mar'20 Rs 7.11 crore).
