Birla Corporation soars on planning to increase cement production capacity to 30 MTPA by 2030

Birla Corporation is currently trading at Rs. 983.60, up by 15.15 points or 1.56% from its previous closing of Rs. 968.45 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 970.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 986.45 and Rs. 970.00 respectively. So far 1879 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 1649.00 on 09-Nov-2021 and a 52 week low of Rs. 822.80 on 20-Jun-2022.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 995.40 and Rs. 952.00 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 7553.84 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 62.90%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 20.40% and 16.70% respectively.

Birla Corporation is planning to increase cement production capacity by 50 per cent to 30 million tonnes per annum (MTPA) by 2030. The company has plans to set up some new units and expand the production capacity of the existing units.
