Bank of Maharashtra trades higher on reporting 2-fold jump in Q4 consolidated net profit

Bank of Maharashtra is currently trading at Rs. 29.93, up by 2.12 points or 7.62% from its previous closing of Rs. 27.81 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 28.19 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 30.27 and Rs. 28.01 respectively. So far 3285021 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 36.25 on 15-Dec-2022 and a 52-week low of Rs. 15.00 on 20-Jun-2022.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 30.27 and Rs. 27.23 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 19774.20 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 90.97%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 3.59% and 5.44% respectively.

Bank of Maharashtra has reported results for fourth quarter (Q4) and year ended March 31, 2023. The Bank has reported 2- fold jump in its net profit at Rs 840.04 crore for the quarter under review as compared to Rs 355.23 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the bank increased by 34.66% at Rs 5317.27 crore for Q4FY23 as compared to Rs 3948.55 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.

On consolidated basis, the bank has reported 2- fold jump in its net profit at Rs 839.93 crore for fourth quarter ended March 31, 2023 as compared to Rs 354.92 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the bank increased by 34.66% at Rs 5317.06 crore for Q4FY23 as compared to Rs 3948.48 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.

For the year ended March 31, 2023, the bank has reported 2- fold jump in its net profit at Rs 2602.03 crore as compared to Rs 1151.54 crore for the previous year. Total income of the bank increased by 16% at Rs 18178.73 crore for year under review as compared to Rs 15671.70 crore for year ended March 31, 2022.

For the year ended March 31, 2023, on the consolidated basis, the bank has reported 2- fold jump in its net profit at Rs 2602.79 crore as compared to Rs 1151.64 crore for the previous year. Total income of the bank increased by 16% at Rs 18179.53 crore for year under review as compared to Rs 15672.17 crore for year ended March 31, 2022
