The company reported standalone net profit of Rs 168.70 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2021 as compared to Rs 318.15 crore in the same period last year, registering a year-on-year decline of 46.97 per cent. Net revenue of the company declined substantially by 27.03 per cent at Rs 250.70 crore in January-March quarter of this fiscal as against Rs 343.58 crore in the corresponding period last year.
During January-March quarter, operating expenses increased by 14.16 per cent to Rs 35.64 crore from Rs 31.22 crore in year ago period. Other Income grew by 80.08 per cent at Rs 17.09 crore versus (Mar'20 Rs 9.49 crore).
Operating Profit slipped by 31.15 per cent to Rs 215.06 crore as against Rs 312.36 crore in the year ago period, while Operating Profit Margin (OPM) contracted year-on-year to 5.64 per cent in March quarter. Taxation increased by 2283.14 per cent at Rs 62.20 crore (Mar'20 Rs 2.61 crore).
