BPCL trades in green on joining hands with Hero MotoCorp
Bharat Petroleum Corporation is currently trading at Rs. 358.55, up by 3.20 points or 0.90% from its previous closing of Rs. 355.35 on the BSE.
The scrip opened at Rs. 358.05 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 360.75 and Rs. 357.75 respectively. So far 94425 shares were traded on the counter.
The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 503.00 on 14-Sep-2021 and a 52 week low of Rs. 349.40 on 22-Feb-2022.
Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 377.30 and Rs. 349.40 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 78125.64 crore.
The promoters holding in the company stood at 52.98%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 34.66% and 12.36% respectively.
Bharat Petroleum Corporation (BPCL) has joined hands with Hero MotoCorp for installing charging infrastructure for two-wheeled electric vehicles (EVs) across the country. In the first phase, charging stations will be set up across nine cities starting with Delhi and Bengaluru. The network will be then expanded across the country with the aim to establish a high density of charging stations
The two firms will first set up a substantial charging infrastructure at BPCL's existing petrol pumps and may subsequently broaden the collaboration to develop more synergies within the EV ecosystem and adjacent business verticals.
BPCL is into exploration, production and retailing of petroleum and petrol related products. The retail business unit of BPCL is into marketing of petrol, diesel and kerosene.
