Ashoka Buildcon trades jubilantly on receiving LoA worth Rs 692.50 crore
Ashoka Buildcon is currently trading at Rs. 89.40, up by 7.55 points or 9.22% from its previous closing of Rs. 81.85 on the BSE.
The scrip opened at Rs. 85.10 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 89.80 and Rs. 85.10 respectively. So far 93087 shares were traded on the counter.
The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 5 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 125.00 on 26-Oct-2021 and a 52 week low of Rs. 78.40 on 06-May-2021.
Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 97.55 and Rs. 80.50 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 2502.65 crore.
The promoters holding in the company stood at 54.48%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 24.27% and 21.25% respectively.
Ashoka Buildcon has received Letter of Acceptance (LoA) for the Project viz. 'Electrification of Railway Lines of the sections Rangiya (Excl.)- Murkongselek including branch lines of Rangapara North (Excl.)-Dekargaon, Balipara(Excl.)- Bhalukpong, Harmuty (Excl.)-Naharlagun, Sripani-Dhamalgaon(Excl), Furkating Jn.(Excl.) to Mariani Jn.(Excl.) and Tinsukia to Dangri Section including branch line of Makum Jn to Tirap, Northeast Frontier Railway RKM/TKM -733.35 /947.59 on EPC mode' in the State of Assam. The accepted offer of the Project is Rs 692.50 crore. The contract period is 900 days.
