Ashoka Buildcon surges on getting LoA for project in Karnataka

Ashoka Buildcon is currently trading at Rs. 95.35, up by 1.55 points or 1.65 % from its previous closing of Rs. 93.80 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 92.70 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 96.60 and Rs. 91.20 respectively. So far 96491 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 5 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 125.00 on 26-Oct-2021 and a 52 week low of Rs. 78.40 on 06-May-2021.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 105.40 and Rs. 92.30 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 2675.29 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 54.48 % while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 24.27 % and 21.25 % respectively.

Ashoka Buildcon has received Letter of Award (LoA) for the Bid submitted to the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) in respect of the Project viz. 'Construction of 6 laning from Belgaum to Sankeshwar Bypass from Km. 515+000 to Km. 555+01 of NH-48 in the State of Karnataka on EPC mode under Bharatmala Pariyojana (Package-I)'. The accepted Bid Price of the Project is Rs 829.49 crore.

Ashoka Buildcon builds and operates roads and bridges in India on a build, operate and transfer (BOT) basis. It currently operates one of the highest numbers of toll-based BOT projects in India.
