Asahi India Glass Q4 net profit jumps 52.20% at Rs 128.96 cr

The company reported standalone net profit of Rs 128.96 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2022 as compared to Rs 84.73 crore in the same period last year, registering a year-on-year growth of 52.20 per cent. Net revenue of the company rose moderately by 15.75 per cent at Rs 923.10 crore in January-March quarter of this fiscal as against Rs 797.52 crore in the corresponding period last year. During January-March quarter, operating expenses increased by 9.67 per cent to Rs 680.81 crore from Rs 620.79 crore in year ago period.
Other Income dipped by 42.34 per cent at Rs 9.15 crore versus (Mar'21 Rs 15.87 crore). Operating Profit surged by 34.32 per cent to Rs 244.79 crore as against Rs 182.24 crore in the year ago period, while Operating Profit Margin (OPM) expanded year-on-year to 16.06 per cent in March quarter. Interest declined by 10.89 per cent y-o-y to Rs 26.91 crore, while Taxation increased by 20.88 per cent at Rs 59.68 crore (Mar'21 Rs 49.37 crore).
