Amara Raja Batteries surges on reporting 6% rise in Q1 consolidated net profit

Amara Raja Batteries is currently trading at Rs. 514.15, up by 9.40 points or 1.86% from its previous closing of Rs. 504.75 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 508.30 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 521.55 and Rs. 508.00 respectively. So far 80906 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 1 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 781.00 on 11-Oct-2021 and a 52 week low of Rs. 438.15 on 20-Jun-2022.

Amara Raja Batteries has reported a rise of 6.06% in its net profit at Rs 131.45 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2022 as compared to Rs 123.94 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company increased by 38.61% at Rs 2636.99 crore for Q1FY23 as compared Rs 1902.48 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.

On the consolidated basis, the company has reported a rise of 6.37% in its net profit at Rs 132.01 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2022 as compared to Rs 124.10 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company increased by 38.61% at Rs 2637.52 crore for Q1FY23 as compared Rs 1902.79 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.
