The company reported standalone net profit of Rs 144.82 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2021 as compared to Rs 122.07 crore in the same period last year, registering a year-on-year growth of 18.64 per cent. Net revenue of the company rose substantially by 26.44 per cent at Rs 584.48 crore in January-March quarter of this fiscal as against Rs 462.25 crore in the corresponding period last year.
During January-March quarter, operating expenses increased by 29.06 per cent to Rs 379.81 crore from Rs 294.30 crore in year ago period. Other Income grew by 63.51 per cent at Rs 19.18 crore versus (Mar'20 Rs 11.73 crore).
Operating Profit surged by 21.86 per cent to Rs 204.67 crore as against Rs 167.95 crore in the year ago period, while Operating Profit Margin (OPM) contracted year-on-year to 3.61 per cent in March quarter. Interest grew by 13.16 per cent y-o-y to Rs 11.35 crore, while Taxation increased by 35.35 per cent at Rs 46.06 crore (Mar'20 Rs 34.03 crore).
