SHORT BUILD UP WAS SEEN IN NIFTY & BANK NIFTY FUTURES

ACCUMULATE SHORTS IN NIFTY WITH SL OF 16200 LEVELS

* The Nifty fell on Friday, extending its losing streak after a day's break. Global cues were negative . After touching a low of 16,172.60 in mid-afternoon trade, the Nifty closed above the 16,200 barrier. The NSE's sectoral indexes all finished in the red. Financial services, information technology, and oil and gas stocks all saw significantselling pressure. The Nifty ultimately fell 1.68% to 16201.80.

* Short build up was seen in the Nifty Futures where Open Interest rose by 0.41% with Nifty falling by 1.68%.

* Short build up was also seen in the Bank Nifty Futures where Open Interest rose by 12.74% with Bank Nifty falling by 1.71%.

* Nifty Open Interest Put Call ratio sharply fell 0.88 level from 1.28 levels. Amongst the Nifty options (16-June Expiry), Call writing is seen at 16300-16400 levels, Indicating Nifty is likely to find strong resistance in the vicinity of 16300 - 16400 levels. On the lower side, an immediate support is seen in the vicinity of 15800 - 16000 levels where we have seen Put writing .

* Short build up was seen by FIIS’ in the Index Futures segment where they net sold worth Rs 1729 Cr with their Open Interest going up by 15064 contracts.
