ACC rises on commissioning 1.6 MTPA grinding unit at Tikaria
ACC is currently trading at Rs. 2175.55, up by 20.80 points or 0.97% from its previous closing of Rs. 2154.75 on the BSE.
The scrip opened at Rs. 2180.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 2192.75 and Rs. 2159.60 respectively. So far 6381 shares were traded on the counter.
The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 2587.95 on 15-Nov-2021 and a 52 week low of Rs. 1686.75 on 23-Feb-2021.
Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 2338.55 and Rs. 2146.30 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 40752.65 crore.
The promoters holding in the company stood at 54.53%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 33.17% and 12.30% respectively.
ACC has successful commissioned 1.6 MTPA grinding unit (GU) at Tikaria in the state of Uttar Pradesh. The additional capacity will add 1.6 MTPA of cement to the existing capacity of 2.31 MTPA, taking the total capacity at Tikaria GU at 3.91 MTPA. The new facility will manufacture environment friendly cement products with low carbon emission.
