ACC Q4 net profit jumps 72.32% at Rs 463.92 cr

The company reported standalone net profit of Rs 463.92 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2020 as compared to Rs 269.22 crore in the same period last year, registering a year-on-year growth of 72.32 per cent. Net revenue of the company rose marginally by 4.41 per cent at Rs 4,144.69 crore in October-December quarter of this fiscal as against Rs 3,969.77 crore in the corresponding period last year. During October-December quarter, operating expenses increased by 1.53 per cent to Rs 3,573.53 crore from Rs 3,519.72 crore in year ago period. Other Income dipped by 3.27 per cent at Rs 54.16 crore versus (Dec'19 Rs 55.99 crore).
Operating Profit surged by 5.66 per cent to Rs 571.16 crore as against Rs 540.55 crore in the year ago period, while Operating Profit Margin (OPM) expanded year-on-year to 1.17 per cent in December quarter. Interest declined by 40.56 per cent y-o-y to Rs 17.38 crore, while Taxation decreased by 236.44 per cent at Rs -188.47 crore (Dec'19 Rs 138.13 crore).
