ABB India jumps on planning to invest Rs 1,000 crore in next five years for capacity expansion

ABB India is currently trading at Rs. 3173.40, up by 66.10 points or 2.13% from its previous closing of Rs. 3107.30 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 3146.95 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 3201.95 and Rs. 3106.55 respectively. So far 6395 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 3445.65 on 02-Sep-2022 and a 52 week low of Rs. 1944.60 on 28-Mar-2022.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 3201.95 and Rs. 3056.00 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 67420.77 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 75.00%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 17.28% and 7.72% respectively.

ABB India is planning to invest Rs 1,000 crore in the next five years for capacity expansion. The company, which inaugurated a new facility in Nashik, will be investing the money in adding capacity across the country. Its new factory spread across 78,000 sq ft will help double the Gas Insulated Switchgear (GIS) production capacity. The company also launched an eco-efficient switchgear.
