Nov 17, 2025 (ANI):Union Minister for Petroleum and Natural Gas Hardeep Puri announced a historic India-USA deal to boost energy security. Indian public sector oil companies have, for the first time, signed a one-year deal to import liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) from the United States. The minister shared the development through a X (former Twitter) post on Nov 17 calling it a "historic first" for the country's LPG market. The minister stated that this deal is part of efforts to diversify sources and secure affordable LPG supplies for the people of India
