Olympian Hockey Player Amit Rohidas ON August 16 expressed gratitude on receiving a grand welcome in India after winning the Bronze medal in the Paris Olympics. While speaking to ANI, he said highlighted his meeting with Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi.
"We are very happy after receiving the grand welcome in India...We met with the President and she said that we are the champions...We also met with the Prime Minister, he motivated us a lot and we are happy to meet him...he also asked us to plant saplings in our houses...When we reached Odisha we received a grand welcome...I also met the CM Mohan Charan Majhi and he also motivated us...I am very happy," said Olympian Hockey Player Amit Rohidas
