Mukesh Jain, State President of the Rice Exporters Association, Chhattisgarh, has extended his gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman for the implementation of the historic GST reforms, said “I express my gratitude to PM Modi and FM Nirmala Sitharaman and welcome this decision of GST reform. On behalf of trade and other industrial associations, I thank them for the gift of historic GST reforms to Indian industry and common citizens. As the Prime Minister had announced, he did the same. This step will not only strengthen the local markets, but will also provide a competitive edge to Indian industries amidst the challenges of American tariffs... While the rest of the world is struggling with the economy these days, India is rapidly maintaining its GDP, and the economy is growing a lot, for which we thank the Prime Minister."
