''Cycling network for Delhi'' EAC-PM Sanjeev Sanyal pitches Yamuna Sutram project at IIT Roorkee
On the seminar on Urban Regeneration at IIT Roorkee, Member of the Prime Minister's Economic Advisory Council (EAC-PM), Sanjeev Sanyal says, "I made a presentation here on the Delhi cycling project called Yamuna Sutram. We are creating a cycling network for Delhi using the water channels... Since these water bodies will now be used by citizens, it's a natural way in which there will be an ownership... It will create a network of cycling tracks which is separate from our road network... It will create a way in which citizens of Delhi will be able to interact with the rivers, the canal systems and so on..."
