`A Historic milestone`, Former DG of DRDO hails Subhanshu Shukla`s successful visit to ISS
Former Director General of DRDO, William Selvamurthy said, "... It's a great moment for us... Group Captain Subhanshu Shukla has inspired the young minds, which will propel the Indian space mission to a newer pinnacle of achievements. It is a historic milestone of spending 18 days in the International Space Station as the first Indian and the second Indian in space... The mission objective has been achieved, and it has safely landed on the southern coast of California... We will be looking forward to knowing his experience and knowledge, which will go into the Gaganyaan mission of India, which is going to happen in 2027..."
