The company reported standalone net profit of Rs 728.33 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2022 as compared to Rs 238.08 crore in the same period last year, registering a year-on-year growth of 205.92 per cent. Net revenue of the company rose triple digit by 119.91 per cent at Rs 4,365.83 crore in April-June quarter of this fiscal as against Rs 1,985.32 crore in the corresponding period last year. During April-June quarter, operating expenses increased by 114.75 per cent to Rs 3,263.02 crore from Rs 1,519.46 crore in year ago period.
Other Income grew by 165.61 per cent at Rs 24.25 crore versus (Jun'21 Rs 9.13 crore). Operating Profit surged by 136.72 per cent to Rs 1,102.81 crore as against Rs 465.87 crore in the year ago period, while Operating Profit Margin (OPM) expanded year-on-year to 7.63 per cent in June quarter. Interest declined by 19.58 per cent y-o-y to Rs 35.37 crore, while Taxation increased by 148.58 per cent at Rs 238.41 crore (Jun'21 Rs 95.91 crore).
